Oneloa Bay

Oneloa Bay is the beach directly in front of the Kapalua Bay Villas, where we have two vacation rental properties. Beach access for owners and tenants is between buildings 20 and 21. There are stairs that go down to the beach as well as the coastal walkway, which runs parallel to the beach toward The Ironwoods.

Oneloa Bay is typically not a crowded beach as it is nestled in a cove and not visible from the road. Based on the surf, it can have higher surf than other protected areas. The southern part of the beach (left if you are facing the water) has a sandier bottom if you are wading in. Other parts had more rocky areas and water shoes help keep your feet from getting hurt.

When it is windy, often you will see kite surfers in the bay, as well as surfers when the swells are reasonable. Typically, the break is a relatively short shore break.
